Wondershare Photo Collage Studio is an application that allows you to organize photographs and create digital albums.
The user interface is intuitive, and even beginners can easily get around this program. At startup, you can either select to create a blank collage, or to start a project from a template (you can even design a calendar or a greeting card). Add as many images as you want, on several pages (via drag and drop), by looking for them in an Explorer-based layout, apply quick changes, such as crop, shadows, rotate, flip, then proceed to the photo editing stage.
You can add frames (cartoons, classical, emotions, occasions, miscellaneous), marks (circle, rectangle, shadow, theme, others) and filters (opacity, gray scale, brightness and contrast, hue and saturation, blur, carve, embossment, flash, inverse, canvas, wood, sharpen, tint, color matrix, color balance, levels, old picture). Decorate your collage by adding text, clip art, stamps, and doodles, and then save it as image or as a wallpaper, or print it.
Wondershare Photo Collage Studio is very simple to use, but we rather recommend it to children, for entertainment purposes only. The elements used here to decorate an image are definitely not meant for professionals.
The program does its job while using a moderate amount of system resources, but it also has shortcomings. For example, when you are adjusting a filter, you can view results only after you apply changes. Furthermore, the Undo button can take you back only a few steps, not till the beginning of the project. Also, we were surprised that we were not offered the option to merge two pictures (e.g. two collages), or at least to create a slideshow. Otherwise, Wondershare Photo Collage Studio is a great tool for creating fun collages of your friends and family, and it definitely serves as an educational tool for children.
